Virtual Writing Marathon (Sunday Mornings)

How the meeting will be structured
- For the first few minutes, you’ll have a chance to say hi and share very briefly about what you’re working on or about your intention. If you’re looking for brief input or advice, now’s the time.
- For the rest of the time, we write without stopping. The rule for a writing marathon is simple: stay in the flow. Maintain a letter per second at minimum. You can exceed this rate, but not fall below it. Just keep the forward momentum. Write however you want, as long as it’s nonstop. During this phase, everyone will be on mute. Cameras can be on or off (your choice). I will leave mine on so that we maintain that sense of shared presence. As you write, you can be sure that others are writing also.
- At the end of the call, we’ll take a few minutes to reflect on the experience, maybe share your word count and describe your experience.
