One example. Colors, sub-models, and production years vary; the machine you find may differ.
Olivetti's Studio line sat a step above the famous Lettera portables: larger machines with more of an office feel, meant for steady daily work rather than the carry-everywhere life of a Lettera 32. The line began with the Nizzoli-designed Studio 44 in 1952 and ran through the Sottsass-era Studio 45; the Studio 46 is the workmanlike member of that family, plainer than its designer-famous siblings and built around the same idea of a portable you can lean on for long sessions. If the Lettera feels a touch small under your hands, a Studio is the Olivetti to try next.
